Good-bye Needn’t Wait for When It Cannot Be Said
Be forewarned. This isn’t my usual essay fare. Since my hospitalizations this year and the life-threatening illnesses that led to them, I face some challenges and changes that have pushed my mind and my heart in different directions. I believe even more strongly in single-payer health care reform than I did, never fear. Many already read about the financial pressures we faced because we don’t have an improved, expanded Medicare for all for life system.
