Oh the summer is flying by so fast! Nurse Talk hosts Casey Hobbs and Dan Grady talk about everything from car fires and catalytic converters to what is happening on the “hill” these days.
Our good friend Donna Smith from the National Nurses United D.C. office checks in with us on all things Capitol Hill. Donna is always a wealth of information and stresses the importance of the upcoming elections. One that stands out for us is the re-election of California Senator Barbara Boxer. Senator Boxer has been an outstanding friend and advocate for nurses in California as well as across the country.Later in the show Casey and Dan talk with our “former” student nurse and now full-fledged RN–Bryan Lo. Bryan has passed the California State Boards and is now looking for work. Bryan has such a great spirit as he listens to Casey put the fear of God in him about what he might expect as he embarks on his new career. Thanks Bryan for being such a good sport!
