Brace yourselves! Karyn Buxman is in the house. Karyn is an RN, MSN, and publisher of the Journal of Nursing Jocularity, a humor magazine for RNs. If you are allergic to laughter…don’t say we didn’t warn you! CNA/NNOC’s Donna Smith sets the record straight about current healthcare reform and talks about the advent of the new “Super Union” National Nurses United.
This week Nurse Talk welcomes CNA’s Donna Smith. Donna (as many of you know) works in the D.C. office and is a fierce advocate for single payer healthcare legislation and other critical issues that face RNs and patients in our country. She and her family were featured in Michael Moore’s movie, Sicko. Nurse Talk Host Casey Hobbs catches up with Donna in a bowling alley in Chicago where she and a group of single payer loyalists are raising money for the cause. Always informed and passionate about the issues–Donna tells it like it is.
